At a moment where we don’t see a lot of romantic comedies in cinemas, a new rom-com with a local connection is opening in theaters all over the country. FOR WORSE was written, directed and stars celebrated actor - and now filmmaker - Amy Landecker. The Chicago-native is a familiar face to viewers, acting in projects like the Cohen Brothers’ A SERIOUS MAN and the acclaimed series TRANSPARENT. Realizing she might need to write the kind of part she wanted, Landecker got the creative itch to write a script for a feature length film … and FOR WORSE was born. Then she decided to direct and star in the project.
