Love, loss and ancient traditions are explored in Lookingglass Theatre’s world premiere, WHITE ROOSTER. The new play comes from Lombard native Matthew C. Yee. The multi-hyphenate, actor-musician-playwright was influenced by his own family history and Chinese folklore when he sat down to write WHITE ROOSTER.
Yee describes WHITE ROOSTER as a “spooky folktale loosely based in Chinese mythology” that weaves together puppetry, movement, and original music.
Lookingglass Theatre’s world premiere WHITE ROOSTER has been extended, it’s now running through April 26th. Go to lookingglasstheatre.org for more details.
