Seuss-Inspired Comedy Returns For Fifth Holiday Season

WDCB’s Gary Zidek caught up with Veronica Garza, the star of Theater Wit’s WHO’S HOLIDAY.

A holiday-themed R-rated comedy is becoming a local holiday tradition. Theater Wit’s WHO’S HOLIDAY is back for the fifth year in a row. If you’ve ever watched the iconic 1966 animated special, HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS, you may remember little Cindy Lou Who.

WHO’S HOLIDAY imagines what happened to poor Cindy Lou when she grew up. Turns out her early encounter with Grinch might have had some long-term impacts on her.

Chicago actor Veronica Garza helped create the Cindy Lou character when the work was being developed. The role requires comedic chops, a singing voice and the ability to improv with the audience. Garza says she enjoys interacting with the audience, it makes every performance different.
