“From the actor’s perspective, you feel like you can use your whole range, of everything from subtle, filmic expression to everything from whispering to screaming. And it’s all seen and heard.” - Steppenwolf’s Jeff Perry talking about the company’s new in-the-round Ensemble Theater.

One of Steppenwolf Theatre’s founding fathers is back home for the inaugural production in it’s new in-the-round Ensemble Theater. Jeff Perry who co-founded the acclaimed theater company with Gary Sinise and Terry Kinney is part of the ensemble cast for this new production of Anton Checkov’s SEAGULL. Perry helped turn Steppenwolf into one of the country’s most respected theater companies. And for the past three decades, he’s been in several immensely popular TV series including GREY’S ANATOMY, SCANDAL and NASH BRIDGES. He was also in the hit Netflix show, INVENTING ANNA that premiered earlier this year. Now he’s back in Chicago to help Steppenwolf open its new performance space, acting in a new production of Anton Chekhov’s SEAGULL.
