Art and nature are converging as the Chicago Botanic Garden celebrates its milestone 50th anniversary with a summer long program called FLOURISH: THE GARDEN AT 50.
Ten artists were commissioned to create installations that connect with the Garden’s mission and history. Visitors will encounter the pieces throughout the Chicago Botanic Garden’s lush 385 acre campus.

The origins of the Chicago Botanic Garden are connected to the Chicago Horticultural Society, which began working on a public garden in 1962. Ten years later in 1972, the Garden began welcoming visitors.
