Chicago Unveils New Mural Registry

The city of Chicago has introduced a new tool that aims to protect and promote murals. The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events’ Mural Registry will serve as an official catalog to what’s believed to be a collection of thousands of murals all over Chicago. Artists, organizations and property owner can start the registration process by submitting an application.
