The past few weeks have been a trying time for Illinois’ restaurant industry. A few weeks ago, WDCB’s Gary Zidek caught up with Chicago magazine dining editor Amy Cavanaugh to talk about the publication’s Best New Restaurants feature (in the April issue of Chicago). Before that interview could air … the COVID-19 situation changed how every restaurant in the state operates.

Gary talked to Amy on Friday March 27 to get her thoughts on how Chicago restaurants have responded to the state’s social distancing mandates.
