WDCB’s Gary Zidek catches up with Joffrey Ballet artistic director Ashley Wheater to talk about the company’s 70th anniversary and its upcoming winter program, AMERICAN ICONS.

The Joffrey Ballet’s 70th anniversary continues this month with a special program that celebrates four dance legends. AMERICAN ICONS opens Thursday for an 8-performance run that culminates March 1. The program will feature works from renowned choreographers Robert Joffrey, Gerald Arpino, Glen Tetley and Martha Graham.
