One of Chicago’s most influential dance companies is getting ready for its post-pandemic future with a new artistic director. Linda Denise Fisher-Harrell was introduced as Hubbard Street Dance’s fourth-ever artistic director earlier this year. It’s a full circle moment for the Baltimore native who started her professional career with Hubbard Street over 30 years ago. Fisher-Harrell has great memories from her time dancing with the company and is excited about her new role as artistic leader for the acclaimed studio.
