Giordano Dance’s upcoming program at the Harris Theater will be unlike anything it's previously done. SOARING is intensely personal for the close-knit company, which is led by Nan Giordano. The organization’s artistic director is the daughter of the company’s late founder, Gus Giordano. SOARING was originally slated to be a celebration of Giordano’s 40 years leading the company’s artistic endeavors. And that will still be an element of the performance, but the program will also serve as a tribute and celebration of life for Giordano’s adult son, Keenan, who passed away unexpectedly this past fall.
