The 37th annual Chicago International Children’s Film Festival kicked off on 11/13. Established by FACETS in 1984, the fest has a long history of celebrating films focused on the experiences of young viewers. This year’s CICFF will be unlike any of the previous editions because it will be completely virtual, interested viewers can engage with the festival’s line-up of 262 films from the comfort and safety of their own homes.

The Chicago International Children’s Film Festival stands out because it’s one of only two Oscar-qualifying children’s film fests in the world.
