“I found myself surrendering to it, and being completely taken over by the quality of the performances, including Michael Mahler and Brianna Borger as the baker and his wife.” - Kerry Reid praising Writers Theatre’s production of INTO THE WOODS.
Writers Theatre is presenting a re-orchestrated version of INTO THE WOODS. The fairy tale mash-up with music by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine premiered in San Diego in 1986 and then opened on Broadway in 1987. That production was nominated for ten Tony Awards and won three.
