The Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, talk to WDCB's Gary ZIdek about Theater Wit's production of ADMISSIONS.

"Wrestling with those ideas, those issues is what makes ADMISSIONS for me, a prickly play, a potent play and certainly a very pertinent play" - Jonathan Abarbanel talking about the questions of privilege explored in ADMISSIONS.

Theater Wit’s production of ADMISSIONS opened weeks after a real-life college admissions scandal captured the public’s attention. Joshua Harmon’s play isn’t about rich people directly buying their kids way into college, instead it attempts to take on larger questions about race and privilege.

The Dueling Critics came away with different reactions, Jonathan recommends ADMISSIONS as a complex exploration of ideas and issues. Kerry says it was too obvious for her liking. Both Critics praised the performances.

Theater Wit’s production of ADMISSIONS is running through May 12.
