WDCB's Gary Zidek asks Plate Magazine senior editor Amy Cavanaugh about the 2018 James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards.

For the fourth year in a row, the James Beard Foundation restaurant and chef awards ceremony will be held at the Lyric Opera House in Chicago. And Chicago is well-represented with several nominees in major categories.

Five Chicago-based chefs are nominated in the Great Lakes Region (IL, IN, MI, OH) Best Chef category:
