The Harris Theater for Music and Dance is celebrating a milestone anniversary this year. The Loop-based venue opened in 2003 with a mission to fill a void in Chicago’s downtown cultural landscape. The Theater is kicking off its 20th anniversary season with a special all-day event on Saturday 9/09, called Harris Fest: Music and Dance in the Park.
