“The supply is there, (studios) are giving us (new) movies, there’s been some adjustments, but overall there’s movies to play every week, the question is what’s the right movie for the Music Box and what’s the movie that people want to come out and spend their time to see, we’ve been figuring that out.” - Music Box Theatre general manager Ryan Oestreich talking about the programming decisions the theatre has had to make since welcoming audiences back.

Several fall-themed activities and traditions had to take a backseat last year as COVID-19 metrics surged. It’s a different story this October, even though the pandemic still looms large, many autumn and Halloween activities are back. The Music Box Theater’s long-running 24-hour horror movie marathon, known as the MUSIC BOX OF HORRORS, was transformed from a one-night, indoor event into a monthlong drive-in festival last October. This year, the Music Box is doing both, the 24-hour horror marathon starting on 10/23 and 30 nights of scary movies at the drive-in. You can find information on both at musicboxtheatre.com.
