WDCB's Gary Zidek talks to Cleve Carney Museum of Art director & curator Justin Witte about the institution's new online exhibit, TRUTHS.

“I think people are going through a lot of emotions at the moment. We wanted to offer a platform where they could share those feelings, share the things they’ve been working on and making, and see what other people have been working (on), so they react in a generative and positive way.” - Justin Witte, Cleve Carney Museum of Art curator and director, talking about the inspiration to launch the online exhibit TRUTHS.

College of DuPage’s Cleve Carney Museum of Art just launched a new online art exhibition that aims to explore the emotions many people are going through in this moment. Created as response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the anti-racist protests that emerged in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd, the project, titled TRUTHS, encourages artists to share their creative responses to what’s happening right now. Anyone may participate in this exhibition. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis through June 30. For more info on submission guidelines click here.
