Duncan Sheik scored a big pop hit in the mid 90’s with his song BARELY BREATHING. He went on to find success composing for the theater. He won a bunch of awards for his work on a Broadway production of SPRING AWAKENING in 2006.  A few years later, he teamed up with Kyle Jarrow to create WHISPER HOUSE. It premiered in San Diego in 2010.  A decade later, Black Button Eyes Productions is presenting the musical ghost story’s Chicago debut at the Athenaeum Theater.
