A new documentary is offering a more complete portrait of one of the greatest artist of the 20th century. Directed by Stanley Nelson, MILES DAVIS: BIRTH OF THE COOL follows the evolution of Davis from his childhood in southern Illinois to his final creative endeavors in the early 90’s.
