Chicago native Kurt Elling is back in Chicago for a special one night-only performance with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra on Monday October 14. The Australian ensemble is presenting a program commemorating the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 space mission. The orchestra will present “The Galaxy’s Greatest Hits”.

Elling is currently working on an album with acclaimed pianist Danilo Perez. The duo will release an album in the spring.
