New Documentary Provides Rare Look At Cloistered Nuns

WDCB's Gary Zidek sits down with filmmaker Abbie Reese to talk about her new documentary CHOSEN: CUSTODY OF THE EYES.

"I'm interested in hearing the stories of the nuns who live here, because (their) stories aren't really part of the public record. And I said, you probably have something of value, some perspective of value that's different from what I generally encounter" - Abbie Reese talking about when she approached the nuns at the Corpus Christi Monastery.

Reese was granted access inside a monastery in Rockford that's almost hidden from the rest of the world.

Reese began working on this project in 2005.
