The Blues Hip Hop Experience will combines poetry, performance, and perspective. The evening will be co-hosted by three-time Grammy-nominee Billy Branch, and award-winning journalist Sylvia Ewing.

The event will pay tribute to 3 Chicago greats: Blues bassist Nick Charles, Blues singer Koko Taylor & Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Gwendolyn Brooks.

The Blues Hip Hop Experience will take place Saturday, April 21 @8 p.m. at Center for the Performing Arts at Governors State University.
