With music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Dorothy Fields and a book by Neil Simon, the original Broadway production of SWEET CHARITY, directed by Bob Fosse, premiered in 1966. It went on to win 9 Tony Awards that year and has continued to be revived every year at theaters all over the country. Now the musical is back on stage in the Chicago-area at the Marriott Theatre.
