Dueling Over Northlight Theatre's MANSFIELD PARK

The Dueling Critics, Kelly Kleiman and Jonathan Abarbanel, review Northlight Theatre’s production of MANSFIELD PARK.

A new stage adaptation of Jane Austen’s third published novel, MANSFIELD PARK, is being presented by Northlight Theatre. It comes from Kate Hamill, who was named playwright of the year by The Wall Street Journal in 2017.

This world premiere production of MANSFIELD PARK is directed by Stuart Carden. He says Hamill has of a talent for creating Austen adaptations that work in a theatrical lens.

A split decision from the Dueling Critics: Kelly loved it, Jonathan had some issues.

Northlight Theatre’s world premiere MANSFIELD PARK is running through December 16.
