New Exhibit Explores Desi Roots

The little known history of how Indians immigrated to North America starting over 400 years ago is illuminated in a new exhibit in Lombard. The first part of the DESI ROOTS AND WINGS exhibit is now on display at the National Indo-American Museum. It’s the museum’s first permanent exhibition, and the latest step in an ongoing effort to expand the organization’s mission to connect cultures through stories of the Indian American experience.
