Monster Mash-Up: Chicago Theater Uses Elements of Puppetry, Theater & Haunted House

Chicago-based Rough House Theater is back with what’s become an October tradition, the latest installment of its immerisve produciton, HOUSE OF THE EXQUISITE CORPSE (IV). The immersive experience combines elements of haunted houses, puppetry and theater to create something completely different. Audience members make their way through Steppenwolf’s Merle Reskin Garage Theater space peeking in on six unique stories.
Each of stories featured in the production are created by different artistic teams, all of them are completely different but fall under an umbrella theme that changes from year to year, this year’s theme is superstitions.
