After over 25 years, Oak Brook-based First Folio Theater has decided to drop the curtain for good later this month. Founded by David Rice and his late wife Alison Vesely in 1997, First Folio has delighted audiences with both outdoor and indoor performances on the grounds of the DuPage Forest Preserve’s Mayslake Peabody Estate. Over the past 26 years, the professional company has mounted over 80 productions, won 7 Jeff Awards and welcomed thousands of theater-lovers. The theater will officially close at the end of its current production, AND NEITHER HAVE I WINGS TO FLY, which runs through February 26.
