Glen Ellyn-based New Philharmonic will celebrate the darker side of the classical music spectrum with a special program, the orchestra is calling a Halloween Spooktakular. Maestro Kirk Muspratt has selected a blood-curdling collection of music for the orchestra to perform, including, J.S. Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, Hector Berlioz’s March to the Scaffold, and Richard Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries.
