Wild Thing: WILD TRAVELS Kicks Off Season 3

WDCB’s Gary Zidek catches up with WILD TRAVELS executive producer Harvey Moshman to talk about the show’s third season.

If you were a fan of local public television in the 90’s and early 2000’s, chances are you’re familiar with the tv program WILD CHICAGO. The off-beat magazine-style show aired on WTTW from 1989 to 2003, shedding light on some of the city’s more unusual people, places and events.  After more than a decade off the air, former host Will Clinger and executive producer Harvey Moshman reimagined the program with a broader scope. Rather than focus on exclusively on Chicago, they created WILD TRAVELS, a show that would explore unusual things all over the country. The program launched in 2016 and is currently seen on PBS stations in 170 markets, including here in Chicago. Season 3 of WILD TRAVELS kicks off this month on WTTW.
