Things are buzzing again at Navy Pier this summer. Pre-pandemic, an estimated 9 million people visited the former Navy training center annually. Of course things were a lot quieter on the Pier in 2020, as the pandemic forced its closure for much of the year. Navy Pier fully reopened this past May and visitors are gradually returning. Now that most restrictions have ended, Navy Pier has brought back some of its public programming including an outdoor film and jazz concert series.
