The award-winning performance collective known as Manual Cinema has been celebrating its 10 year anniversary all August by presenting some of its favorite shows online. The ensemble’s 10th Anniversary Retropsectular culminates this upcoming week with a seven-day run of its much lauded 2018 production of FRANKENSTEIN. Similar to Victor Frankenstein’s efforts with the Creature, Manual Cinema uses a mix of puppetry, live theater, music, sound design and film techniques to bring its shows to life. The collective’s adaption of FRANKENSTEIN premiered at Court Theater in 2018, which was the bicentennial of Mary Shelly’s classic horror novel.
