Even as things begin to re-open in Illinois, local arts organizations are still in wait-in-see mode when it comes to scheduling programming. For over eight decades, Hyde Park Art Center has made stimulating and sustaining visual arts in Chicago its mission. And even though the organization’s physical space at 5020 Cornell Avenue remains closed, the non-profit is still committed to being a hub for the community it serves.  Hyde Park Art Center’s summer class term starts on June 22 with increased accessibility. All of the courses and camps will be presented virtually, instead of in-person, and the Center is implementing a contribute-what-you-can payment model.
