“It’ll be interesting to see what happens when live concerts are possible again, we’re very interested in this new format, it’ll never replace the live concert. But we certainly want to take the good away from this and learn from what we’re doing right now, and carry it forward.” - David Skidmore talking about what elements of the ensemble’s streaming projects might continue post COVID-19.

Third Coast Percussion has taken a proactive approach to making music and connecting with fans during our collective quarantine. The Grammy-winning group is among a growing number of artists who are embracing technology to create innovative ways to engage audiences. The ensemble is moving ahead with its Carnegie Hall fundraiser on May 17, instead of a swanky building in the Gold Coast neighborhood, the event will be held in a virtual space online.
