A new exhibit is illuminating the beauty and craftsmanship behind Tiffany Studios’ religious-themed stained glass windows. The exhibition titled, ETERNAL LIGHT: THE SACRED STAINED GLASS WINDOWS OF LOUIS COMFORT TIFFANY, recently opened at the Richard H. Driehaus Museum.

Several stained glass windows created between 1880 – 1925 are on display in the exhibit. But ETERNAL LIGHT aims to go a little further in exploring the backstory behind what made Tiffany’s work so unique. The exhibition is divided into three sections: the making of a stained glass window, Tiffany’s connection to Chicago and the windows themselves.
