“This is something I think every auction house is working on changing the narrative of, it’s considered to be sort of a rich man’s game, and quite frankly it couldn’t be further from the truth.” - Hindman CEO Thomas Galbraith talking about a popular misperception of auctions.
Hindman CEO Thomas Galbraith
There a lot of antiquated ideas about auctions, from what’s available to how much things cost. But you might be surprised by what you find on auction …
Chicago-based Hindman Auction House wants to change the way people think about the auction process. Hindman CEO Thomas Galbraith believes one of the keys to changing those perceptions is by attracting people to the experience of a live auction. Hindman recently opened a new auction space at its West Loop office (1338 West Lake Street, Chicago).
