Chicago welcomed a giant new addition to its public art collection this past fall with the debut of Art On theMART. The public-private partnership utilizes cutting-edge projectors to display digital art onto the river-facing façade of the Merchandise Mart, now known simply as The Mart.

Last week, Art on theMart unveiled it’s Spring program. You can check out the new collection of digital projections five nights week, Wednesday through Sunday, for two hours beginning 15 minutes after sunset.

Acclaimed media designer John Boesche created a work titled 7 soliloquies celebrating the Year of Chicago Theatre. The piece features seven parts, each highlights a different element of Chicago’s diverse theater community.
