The Cheiftains have been playing music and touring the globe for 57 years. The group’s founder, Paddy Moloney says he doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.

Moloney says the first time The Chieftains came to Chicago was the early 70’s and it remains one of his favorite cities to perform in. Moloney says Chicagoans should expect some local flavor for the band’s upcoming concert.

The six time Grammy Award-winning group will perform at Symphony Center on Saturday, March 2. You can find more information about the concert here.
