Founded in 2012, First Floor Theater’s latest production is the Chicago premiere of a play titled SUGAR IN OUR WOUNDS. The play is part of playwright Donja R. Love’s trilogy of works about black love at pivotal moments in history. SUGAR IN OUR WOUNDS takes place on a plantation during the Civil War.
