The 2018 album LIVE is a continuation of Blanchard's response to issues related to gun violence in the U.S. 

Blanchard has composed scores for over 50 films, including many of Spike Lee's biggest projects.  Gary asked Blanchard specifically about his work on 2002's 25th HOUR.
