Artists and Makers Bring "One of a Kind" Gifts to theMart

For Chicago-area residents looking for gifts that you can’t find at the mall or on Amazon, the One of Kind Holiday Show is set to kick–off year number 18.
Over 600 artists and independent makers will set up shop at theMart (formerly known as the Merchandise Mart) for a four-day shopping event unlike any other holiday market in Chicago.

Attendees will be able to find everything from craft olive oil to handmade jewelry to original drawings of Chicago neighborhood architecture.

Phil Thompson is the artist behind Cape Horn Illustration. He’s one of the 600-plus artists & makers who will be selling their creations at the One of Kind Holiday Show. Thompson makes prints using his drawings of local architecture, maps and other pieces of Chicago history.
