WDCB's Gary Zidek visits Transit Tees' Wicker Park location to learn more about the company's history and new game.
“What we’ve found is that people here (Chicago), see it (Transit Tees items), it takes a moment, and then they connect to it. Because they live here and they know the symbols of the city.” - Transit Tees owner Tim Gillengerten talking about the strong sense of civic pride that exists among Chicagoans.
Transit Tees doesn’t just sell Chicago-centric items like t-shirts, magnets and mugs, it also designs and makes almost all of its products.
Similar in game-play to UNO or Crazy Eights, LOOP has a strong local flavor. The game was designed to capture the commuter experience on Chicago's elevated train system.
