The Arts Section 07/11/21: Chicago Comics Exhibits + Roger Bennett Interview

On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek visits both of the comics exhibitions currently on display in Chicago. The Cultural Center recently opened an exhibit that traces the history of comics in Chicago from 1880 to 1960, while the Museum of Contemporary Art has a show that covers the evolution of comics from the 60’s to present day. Gary talk to the curators of both exhibits. The Dueling Critics, Kerry and Jonathan, join Gary to discuss Steppenwolf Theatre’s latest virtual offering. And later, Gary catches up with soccer commentator and New York Times bestselling author Roger Bennett to chat about his new memoir, (RE)BORN IN THE USA.
