Happy Father’s Day! On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek puts a spotlight on the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s CSO For Kids initiative that aims to connect with its youngest fans during and after the pandemic. The Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, will join me to talk about Court Theater’s new virtual play TITANIC. Chicago’s own Alligator Records is celebrating a milestone anniversary, WDCB’s Leslie Keros looks back at the 50 year history of the iconic blues label. And Iater in the program, Gary catches up with a Chicago-based theater artist, who recently was given a Joyce Award to assist in her efforts to create an ambitious healing theater project for Black women.
