The Arts Section 05/07/23: Early Music Collab, Chicago Cabaret Week + Summer Movie Preview

On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek takes a closer look at a first of it’s kind collaboration between two local early music ensembles, that will be presenting a program of rarely performed 17th century music. The Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, join Gary to review the U.S. premiere of a docu-musical titled LONDON ROAD. Later in the show, two of the founders of Chicago Cabaret Week stop by to talk about the 2nd annual cabaret series. And Daily Herald Columnist Sean Stangland joins Gary in-studio to preview the summer movie season, lots of big budget films are set to come out over the next several months, will people go to the cinema to see them?
