The Earth’s trash problem is so bad in the future that spaceships take loads of it to dump in outer space in Artemisia Theatre’s virtual world premiere, GOODS. The play comes from Lauren Ferebee and is being directed by Chicago theater legend E. Faye Butler.

Some big local theater news was revealed recently, Steppenwolf Theatre announced that Anna D. Shapiro, who has served as the ensemble’s Artistic Director since 2015, will step down from the role in August.
