Chicago Holiday Productions Welcome Audiences Back

The Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, join WDCB’s Gary Zidek to talk about their favorite holiday-themed theatrical productions taking place this year.

Pre-pandemic, there was well over 100 holiday-themed productions on Chicago-area stages from mid-November to early January. Last year, obviously things were different, everything was remote with some companies producing virtual offerings. This year, we’re getting back to the way things were … but COVID still looms over all in-person activities. That being said, there are lots of holiday-themed theatrical offerings this year.
